P.JAIN & CO was formed in 1993 though it’s principal Architect Late Mr.Pawan Jain, an alumni of SPA Delhi, 1985 batch worked independently since 1985 on various projects, as well as an Associate Architect with known Architectural Firms in Delhi and Dehradun. Having great interest in hill ecology and worked extensively with Uttar Pradesh / Uttarakhand state governments,
P.Jain & Co. made Dehradun its base. Dehradun was an emerging city and being connected to all major cities it offered many challenging opportunities.
Late Mr.Pawan Jain’s vision was to emerge from the shadows of Western Architectural norms and form a truly native aesthetic style combined with the latest technological innovations. Mr.Pawan Jain and Mrs.Bharti P. Jain, along with their team, have executed over the years a varied and extensive body of work.
P.Jain & Co’s ethos of combining comprehensive research and survey; engineering technology; usage of progressive and eco-friendly materials; cost reduction in buildings has resulted in it being a leading Architectural firm in Dehradun.
This principle of interfacing art and technology with needs of terrain is so intrinsic in the company’s practice that despite losing its founder Mr. Pawan Jain in 2016 with his wife Mrs. Bharti P. Jain has carried this ethos and combined it with her classic and practical design concepts.
